Christmas Calls

My favorite part of Christmas was talking to Elder Andrew Kay in Cameroon and Elder Dallin Kay in Taiwan. It's hard to believe that in three short months Andrew will be home briefly and zoom forward with his life.

I'm excited to finish my hospital unit clerk course on March 9th and start working full-time for $$$$.

Generous family members and ward members transformed our feared dismal Christmas into a magical angelic event. Thanks Brenda and Dave for the lasagna dinner and gingerbread house building activity and games. It has been nice to feel rested, relaxed, play games, and read. I love the "angel of patience" from Grandma Kay and the cuddly pj's. Helen's thoughtful gifts have helped me feel like a pampered princess every morning and evening. My feet are soo much warmer these days. Thanks Marney & family for your thoughtful and timely gifts. The Costco gift card will add some variety to our "food storage" meals.

Enjoying a combined Christmas dinner with the Takahashi's and Mom seemed like a dream come true. We thorougly enjoyed preparing the turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, and pie. Thanks Judy & family for the yummy salad, sweet potatoes, delicious dressing and buns. I loved the laughter and each chair at the table filled with people that we love and treasure.

Unfortunately, the camera never left it's bag....sorry folks.
