We are all getting back into routine. I set a goal to make breakfast so Joel and Jeff can eat before seminary. It's a good idea to stay in the kitchen while making breakfast. I made a monster pancake (german pancake with apples and cinnamon) and then went downstairs to do an online quiz while it was baking! That good ol superhero Carbon Woman struck again! soo... I made another monster pancake and put it in the oven to bake. yup!! Carbon woman struck again. I had to go to class and left both carbon offerings on the top of the stove. Joel had a great laugh when he came home at lunch. What a sweetheart...he wrote me a note that said "It's the thought that counts!" Jeff was really sweet too. He said, "Mom, you've been doing really well. I think it's been at least three years since Carbon Woman visited!!!
I'm going to stay away from the oven for a few days so Carbon Woman will find another victim somewhere else!!
With tons of school work and lots of peaches to be bottled, Saturday I showed Kevin what to do. Unfortunately I didn't catch him in action for posterity...but from Saturday to Tuesday Kevin bottled about 80 pounds of peaches by himself. What an amazing guy....!! Service with a smile.
Today I wrote an exam for medical terminology and victory was mine!! 100% My brain really does work. Now to do well in my on-line classes...
It was great to hear from Dallin on Monday. Sunday night we send email to Dallin and wuh la - an email comes from him Monday afternoon.
