A National Geographic dvd on Cameroon from the public library helped us feel closer to Andrew for a few minutes. It was nice to see where Andrew is serving - eventhough he won't see any wildlife except the roaches and occasional rat. Dallin started work on Monday - construction. Joel and Jeff have adjusted well to their new metalic smiles...
What would I do without my amazing girlfriends? This past week has been so much fun with the gals. Tia, Kylie and I had amazing evening walks and talks. It was also really fun to check out some of the new showhomes in the hood just south of us.
Mauri Stiff surprised me with a ticket to Rochester, New York. We flew out Saturday morning from Calgary to Chicago to Rochester and picked up her 2005 Toyota Sequoia and then drove back home. We arrived back yesterday, Tuesday, May 6th at 3:20 p.m. Singing, laughing, sharing - wow did I hit the jackpot! Thanks Mauri!
While I was gone Kevin and the boys did a ton of work on the house and yard. Kevin organized meal reponsibilities, and jobs inside and out. It was fun to see the HUGE list and see all the check marks beside them. Thanks guys!! Am I ever a lucky woman to have all of you.
I'm in the process of figuring out what schooling I'm going to pursue... I'll keep ya posted.
So glad the season for weeding the garden and watching the strawberries grow has finally arrived...I can already taste 'em.
