Jeffery's Motorcycle Accident Update

Day 2 Healing - looking much better

Day 4

Jeffery is feeling much better after a few days of healing. I guess I neglected to tell the story behind the first posting.

On Tuesday after scouts Jeff went for a ride on our friend Brent Johnson’s new Motorcycle he just brought up from California. He drove it home with no incident, however when he was out for a spin with Jeff they laid the bike down on some gravel at the side of the pavement. Brent broke his wrist, bruised a rib and received some harsh road rash. Jeff was on the back of the bike and only received a very harsh road rash to his right arm & side. He also burned his leg on the muffler standing the bike up after the crash. I took Brent and Jeff to the didsbury hospital where they were looked almost immediately. Brent was sent to Calgary by for a specialist to look at his wrist. Jeff was treated and released. Every one is healing nicely and no long term effects expected. Brent feels terrible, but things happen no one is to blame if it wasn't for quick thinking they could have slide under parked cars and we would have some badly hurt people.

Stay posted for more updates.

PS: WEAR LEATHER AND WATCH FOR LOOSE GRAVEL ON PAVEMENT.
