Elder Kay Arrived Safe

First Photo from the Mission field

Dear Brother Kay:

I am happy to report that Elder Kay arrived safe and sound as scheduled on May 31. He was greeted at the airport by Elder and Sister Coles, a missionary couple who serve in Douala, and a pair of young elders. He went to his apartment and then out teaching.

Sister Maycock and I arrived in Douala about 11 pm the same day, and met Elder Kay the following day, yesterday. We conducted an orientation session yesterday for the new missionaries, and a zone conference today for the missionaries from Douala and Yaounde. During my interview with Elder Kay, I asked him to write to you by tomorrow morning at the lastest, so you should be hearing from him soon if not already.

His first field of labor will be here in Douala.

You will find attached a photo of Elder Kay with us. He is a delightful young man who is very excited to be serving a mission here. We are thrilled to have him.

Thank you for your love and support.
