We're Back!!

Joel and I arrived home from Germany late Sunday night, 30 March 2008. Monday morning I returned to work and Joel stayed home and slept. After unpacking Joel discovered that the camera was missing.... sorry no pics to post.

We had a wonderful time and plenty of adventure. Ask Joel how it feels to be trapped in a small elevator for about one-hour with nineteen other people that all need to go to the washroom. Joel was definitely the happiest guy in the group and helped keep the mood light and fun.

My favorite part of the trip was the cruise down the Rhine river running from one side of the boat to the other to check out castles and ancient ruins. We visited Berlin, Dresden, Munich, Dachau, Rothenburg,Heidelberg, Cologne and flew out of Frankfurt. Most memorable airport - Terminal 1 @ Heathrow (8 hour layover due to delays) on our way to Berlin (really yucky and old!). Newly opened terminal on our way home with sci-fi bathrooms on the airport train (air-locs and lit sign that says "toilet engaged").

The 2007 sea-doos are on the driveway waiting for summer fun. Kevin, Dallin and Jeff had adventures in Utah and specifically enjoyed doing baptisms at the Salt Lake Temple and visiting with the Lybbert family.
